The Joy of Sex in Later Life

"Research has confirmed what older people have long known but haven’t traditionally talked about – age typically doesn’t eliminate or diminish the need and desire for sex."

It might be sometimes awkward to talk about, but with more people over 50 remaining sexually active, it's a conversation we need to have. 

Sex in later live has many health benefits - burning fat, strengthening bones and boosting the immune system - it carries risks too. Lower recorded rates of condom use have led to a surge in STI infections amongst this age group.
